NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) C282 WHITLEY CHAPEL TO DIPTON MILL HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C282 Whitley Chapel To Dipton Mill Hexham from its junction with the U8069 Dalton Junction to Stinted Pastures, heading in a south easterly direction for a distance of 560 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 13th February 2017 until the 17th March 2017. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th February 2017 until the 3rd March 2017 however it will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Dipton Mill Road, C278 Juniper To Hexham, C278 High Juniper To Lee Cross Roads Junction, C278 Juniper To High Juniper, C278 Low Juniper To Juniper, C278 Steel To Low Juniper, C278 Lilswood Farm To Whitley Chapel and vice versa Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council’s Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at www.roadworks.org (enter the road number and road name). – Ref:TTRO 97485.
