The group is run by St Helens Church, Whitley Chapel and was set up in September 2016 to support young families by bringing them together where they can chat and play in an informal setting. The group meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 1:30 to 3:15pm, in the back meeting room of the Whitley Chapel Parish Hall. The group is varied with mums, dads and grandparents coming along with children from eight weeks to four years old.
The group is co-ordinated and run by volunteers from the church and local community. All volunteers have been DRB checked and adhere to St Helens church safeguarding policy. Some of the volunteers have also attended a first aid course.
