Trying to find ways of meeting up during the Covid 19 restrictions we decided to ask if members would be interested in joining a Book Group. We started in March 2021 with 10 of us in the group, meeting on Zoom, and since then we have read 18 books and now have 12 members.
A different person suggests a book each month. When we have our meeting to review the book that person will give the group some background information on the author and lead the discussion. Our opinions are often very different which result in some interesting conversations and that’s what it is all about and having fun! We now have our meetings in our local pub or cafes.
If you are looking for a book to read then perhaps something from the wide variety listed below might appeal.
If you would like to share your thoughts on any of the books we would be delighted to hear from you. Contact: margeiliffe8@btinternet.com
